ONE Clinic History

The ONE Clinic was established in 2007 as a way for the physicians of Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute to give back to the field of neurosurgery and further neurosurgical resident education.  The first year the course was a two day event focusing on spine surgery and practice management, since that time the course has grown to include a day dedicated to cranial pathology.  We have been honored by the prestigious neurosurgeons who have been faculty members allowing for one on one resident training making this a unique course.  The ONE Clinic has now become a collaborative effort between CoxHealth Foundation, Springfield Neurological Institute and the Mayfield Education and Research Foundation, and Mayfield Clinic and we look forward to many successful years.

In 2012 the ONE clinic was able to add neuroscience nursing education, which aligns with the physician curriculum dedicating a half day to neurology, a day to cranial pathology and a day to spine pathology. This new addition continues to grow annually and adds to the success of the course.
